Lake Bunyonyi

Back at the end of March, I went to Lake Bunyonyi for a “spring break” trip with a handful of friends from Kampala. It’s a large crater lake in the southwest part of the country, near Rwanda, and it may very well be one of the most serene places on earth. We slept in late, canoed, swam, jumped off the rope swing, and dined on such delicious things as crayfish avocado. As you can see, there’s basically no good reason to ever leave.
