Dinner & Death

We used to do group dinners and watch a TED talk for discussion, but those evenings kind of fizzled out recently. I miss them, though, and when James came up with the idea to host an evening called “Dinner & Death,” I was more than happy to help out. The food was themed around Dia de Los Muertos, as Mexico is one of the few places I know that isn’t afraid to celebrate death as a stage of life. I experimented with making new foods like pan de los muertos and mole. We had a great discussion about life, death, and near death experiences, and as much as it seems a morbid topic, it was actually a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to the next “Dinner & _”
